White Ribbon - Campaign Switzerland
Initiated by the Women’s World Summit Foundation, the campaign encourages men of all ages to commit to create a world without violence against women. A similar campaign exists already in 47 countries and Switzerland has joined this list by choosing the symbolic date of Saint Valentine’s day - 14 February 2009 - for its launch.
Why wear a White Ribbon?
The campaign proposes 10 ways for men to help prevent male violence against women.
To remember: Violence against women is a form of discrimination and a violation of Human Rights.
